Drivers all over Indiana are headed down to Colonial Toyota to check out the newest model on the lot, the all-new 2019 Corolla Hatchback. Stylish and fun to drive, this new take on a classic Toyota is turning heads Greensburg and Johnstown. With sporty lines and new and improved safety and technology features, it's no wonder drivers all over town are choosing the 2019 Corolla Hatchback as their new every-day vehicle.

What Features come with the new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback?

The Corolla has been one of Toyota's best-selling sedans for years, so Toyota took everything drivers love about it and made a version for the drivers who prefer the space and sporty styling of a hatchback. The 2019 Corolla Hatchback is just slightly shorter height-wise than the Corolla, and about 13" shorter length-wise than the Corolla sedan. However, the Corolla Hatchback has 5 extra cubic feet of cargo volume, which is an entire extra suitcase when taking the family on the road for vacation.

The Corolla Hatchback's low-to-the-ground body design keeps the center of gravity low, which allows for improved responsiveness and stability while turning. As for under the hood, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback comes standard with a 2.0L Dynamic Force Engine, which comes with available Dynamic Shift-CVT. The Dynamic Shift-CVT comes with steering wheel paddle shifters, which combine the immediate response of a traditional First gear with the efficiency of a CVT.

If traditional shifting is what you're looking for though, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback can offer that as well. One of the options is the 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) which comes with the traditional three pedals, as well as incorporates an intelligent rev-matching feature, which helps to reduce transmission shock during downshifting. With the low gears being close-ratio for acceleration with some pep, and taller gears up top for optimal fuel economy while cruising, it is a driving experience like no other.

What kind of Technology comes with the Toyota Corolla Hatchback

Even from the outside, it's clear that the 2019 Corolla Hatchback was meant to feel sporty and still stylish. The unmistakable rear spoiler means you'll stand out wherever you go around Portage. The lighter, wider stance of the hatchback and its practical design are capped off with a rear glossy hatch and chrome tailpipe diffusers that blend seamlessly with the bumper. The LED lights and available LED fog lights and 18-in. alloy wheels ensure that no driver in Doylestown will miss seeing your vehicle.

But the premium driving experience and style doesn't end when you get inside the 2019 Corolla Hatchback. The 8-in. multimedia touch screen, with standard features like Entune™ 3.0 Audio System, Apple CarPlay™ support and Scout® GPS Link compatibility make for safer, less stressful driving. The standard Smart Key System ensures that you'll never again waste time fumbling for your keys, you can unlock the doors and trunk, plus start the engine with just a push of a button, all while your keys remain in your bag or pocket. The driver-centric cabin also has available features like a 7-in. Multi-Information Display, advanced steering wheel controls, and heated seats.

What's New in Toyota Safety Sense 2.0?

Remote Start available with the 2019 Corolla Hatchback

By now, it's pretty well-known that Toyota Safety Sense leads the pack in safety features, and the latest version of it, TSS 2.0 is better than ever before. The Pre-Collision System gets an upgrade to include Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection, instead of just Pedestrian. The Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, instead of only being available on some models like with TSS P, will be available on most Toyota models equipped with TSS 2.0, including the 2019 Corolla Hatchback. The Lane Departure Alert System gets an upgrade with Road Edge Detection, and TSS 2.0 has two new features as well: Road Sign Assist and Lane Tracing Assist. The standard rear vision camera and available Blind Spot Monitor are just the capper on an impressive suite of safety features the 2019 Corolla Hatchback offers.

In addition, every new 2019 Corolla Hatchback comes with the Toyota Star Safety System™, and ToyotaCare, which is 2 years or 25,000 miles of no-cost normal factory maintenance and 2 years of 24-hour roadside assistance, regardless of mileage.
